These Terms of Sale govern every order placed with Shuttlebrook Woolen Mill through shuttlebrookwoolenmill.shop or by telephone. Placing an order means you accept them. We may change them at any time; the version in force is the one published when you order.
Adding a piece to your cart is not a reservation. A contract forms when we send the shipping confirmation. Until then we may decline or cancel an order — for example if a piece has sold out, if a price or description was wrong, or if our fraud checks flag the transaction. If we cancel after taking payment, we refund in full.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax. Sales tax is calculated at checkout from your shipping address and shown before you pay. We collect tax in every state where we have an obligation to do so. Prices may change without notice, but the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Apple Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card is authorised when you place the order and charged when the order ships, except for pre-orders and made-to-order pieces, which are charged at the time of order. Placing an order authorises us to charge the total shown.
We ship within the United States and to Canada. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier, but we will replace or refund a parcel confirmed lost or damaged in transit. Delivery estimates are estimates and not guarantees.
Unused pieces in original condition may be returned within 60 days of delivery for a refund to the original payment method, or exchanged. Return shipping within the contiguous United States is on us for the first return of an order. Monogrammed and made-to-order pieces are final sale. Mill Seconds are sold as-is, with their flaws described on the product page, and can be returned only if the flaw was not disclosed. We re-bind a worn edge on any wool blanket we made, for as long as we are in business, for the cost of shipping.
Wool is a natural fibre. Colour varies between dye lots, dimensions vary by up to two per cent after fulling, and photographs vary between screens. These are characteristics of the cloth, not defects.
We warrant that our goods are free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from delivery. That is our only warranty; all others, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the extent the law allows. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
The site, our photographs, our pattern names and our marks belong to us. You may not reproduce them commercially without written permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts sitting in Madison County, Alabama have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to that venue.
